In this set of videos, we’ll cover the vocalizations that I refer to as “Contact Bugles.” Arguably the most common type of bugle hunters hear in the field each year, the Contact Bugle is the most basic bugle used by bulls, and is one that is sometimes referred to by others as a "location" bugle. While they can serve the purpose of asking for, or providing, a location from or to another animal, the Contact Bugle actually accomplishes more than that. And, like many bull vocalizations, Contact Bugles can be expressed at different intensity levels. This is important to understand when you're trying to decipher what the bull is saying, or when you want to use one during your hunt.
